Maa's response

First of all, if your son is not talking to you and stays by himself in the room, he may need some time to himself. So now, going to your question about his future, you are very anxious about it, as most parents would be, so it's understandable.

But here, let us try to understand a profound truth of life and all living beings. You see, it is that each soul comes on earth to fulfill only its own destiny. Just as you are here to fulfill your destiny and not anyone else's destiny.

You see, the same way, your son's life, his future, whether bright or brighter, what he will do and what he will be, is already set at the time he took birth. The role of parents is not to be anxious about their child's future, because you cannot control it, especially with today's fast moving children. You cannot control your own future, where are you going to control your child's future, right? So no point being anxious about it.

What you must do, and what you can only do as a parent is to guide, to guard and to support your child, this soul, who has chosen you as its parents to help in its life journey. And you know, in your particular situation here, the first step I would suggest would be to ensure that your son is alright in his room. And then, even if he does not respond to you, you continue to ask him without judgment or anxiety, how you can help him with whatever he is going through. That's all..
